Itinerary in Detail

Day 01: Colombo

On your arrival in Sri Lanka you will be met at the airport by your chauffeur and transferred to Colombo. During the 60 minute journey from the airport you can catch a glimpse of Sri Lankan life.Throngs of street vendors, tuk-tuks weaving crazily about in traffic, 60 seater busses that always seem come right at you are all part of the sights and sounds that would greet you on your way. Upon arrival at the Galle Face Hotel, you can rest, relax and recover from jetlag. We will host you to a complimentary dinner in the evening. During this dinner we will answer all your questions regarding the tour and also familiarize you with general information.

Day 02: Colombo - Royal Colombo Golf Club

Travel to the Royal Colombo Golf Club after breakfast and spend the day at the course. Non players may visit the various attractions and the clothing shops where you can purchase designer wear at very cheap prices. Return in the evening to your hotel where you may relax by the beach sipping sundowners.

Royal Colombo Golf Club

This 5770 m (par 71) golf course is one of the oldest in Asia. The course offers challenges through its many water hazards and bunkers which can test even the seasoned players. The sixth hole is supposed to be a treat where golfers encounter the Kelani Valley train.

Day 03: Kandy

Leave for Kandy after breakfast. Enroute visit the Peradeniya Botanical gardens. The botanical gardens were initially the pleasure gardens of the kings which were later made botanical gardens during the reign of the British. Next visit the Temple of the Tooth one of the most sacred places to Buddhists and in the evening experience a colorful pageant of drummers, dancers and the finale firewalking. Spend the night at a beautiful villa only a stones throw away from the Golf Course.

Day 04: Victoria Golf Club

Arrive at the Golf Course after breakfast and spend the rest of the day playing Golf. Non players may spend time relaxing at the club house or may visit some of the handicraft shops in Kandy. Return to the villa in the evening and relax at the Villa.

Victoria International Golf and Country Resort

The Victoria Golf Club as it is popularly known is situated in Digana a stones throw away from Kandy a city rich in culture and history. This 6877m (par 73) course is the newest in Sri Lanka and designed by the famous Donald Steel and Company.It is situated right beside the Victoria Reservoir and is probably the most picturesque courses in Sri Lanka. Temperatures in the mid 20's offer ideal playing conditions.

Day 05: Nuwara Eliya

Travel to Nuwara Eliya after breakfast. This leg of the journey will see us ascending very quickly. The drive however takes you through some stunning countryside with Tea bushes lining the either side of the road for the most of the trip.We make a pit-stop at a tea factory and are walked through the process of making tea. Traveling onwards arrive in Nuwara Eliya towards late afternoon.Nuwara Eliya is a beautiful town situated at an altitude of 2040m. The town still retains most of its architecture which is predominantly British. Spend the night at a beautiful hotel overlooking the golf links.

Day 06: Nuwara Eliya Golf Club

Make your way to the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club after breakfast for your game of Golf. In the afternoon or evening you can walk around Nuwara Eliya and explore this town on your own.The climate in Nuwara Eliya will make you wonder if you are really in Sri Lanka or strolling in the english countryside. Spend the night in Nuwara Eliya.

Nuwara Eliya Golf Club

At the base of Mount Pidurutalagala in the heart of tea country. At 1890m above sea level, it features fir lined fairways, bunkers and scenic surroundings. The 9th is an island green surrounded by bunkers. Water (rivers) come into play on 6 holes. The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club course is 5,520 m (par 71). The fairways are long and narrow and bordered by fir trees and thick bushes. The course demands great deal of respect from its players since the uphill down hill nature of the course requires skillful placement.

Day 07: Colombo

Travel to Colombo after breakfast. Arrive in Colombo towards late afternoon and you may visit the shops in Colombo. Some great buys include designer clothing, Jewellery and handicrafts.If you do not prefer shopping relax at the hotel until your time for the flight.

Day 08: Airport

Depart to the airport for your flight back home.
