The Sri Lanka family holiday is an ideal tour for families wishing to discover Sri Lanka. The tour is specifically created with children in mind and includes all the major tourist destinations as well as special activities for the children. The itinerary spends less time moving around and minimizes travelling between destinations as well. The tour specifically includes elephant rides, white water rafting and a picturesque train journey just for the kids.

Drive to Dambulla – enroute visiting the Pinnawela elephant orphanage. Arrive in Dambulla (B,D) |
| Day 03 |
Explore ancient city of Polonnaruwa. Elephant ride in the afternoon. Overnight at Dambulla. (B,D) |
| Day 04 |
Visit Dambulla, afternoon safari at the Minneriya National Park (B.D) |
| Day 05 |
Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the morning. Travel to Kandy. Witness Cultural dance show in the evening featuring fire walking, drummers etc. Overnight in Kandy. (B,D) |
| Day 06 |
Spend day exploring Kandy. Visit Peradeniya Gardens, Museum, Kandy city etc. Overnight in Kandy (B.D) |
| Day 07 |
Travel to Nuwara Eliya by train. On arrival visit a working tea factory and observe how tea is made. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya. (B,D) |
| Day 08 |
Meet with Naturalist and explore the high altitude nature reserve of Horton Plains. Travel to Kitulgala. White water rafting on the Kelani River. Overnight at Kitulgala(B,D) |

Travel to Yala. Upon arrival in Yala rest and relax. |

Tours start weekly on Saturdays. Start dates can be customised to start on weekdays also.
Accommodation
- 12 Nights in star class hotels with all amneties including Air-conditioning, attached toilets, television, safes etc.
- 1 Night in an eco lodge with attached toilets, fans and mosquito nets. (No hot water)
Meals
Half Board basis beginning with Dinner on Day 01 and ending with Breakfast on Day 14. All Breakfasts and Dinners with the exception of the eco lodge would be buffets. The eco lodge will serve a set menu.
