Sri Lanka Holidays - A letter of Appreciation

To whom it may concern,

Back in April last year my wife and I travelled to Sri Lanka for our honeymoon. After finding the holiday packages from Australia to expensive I found Adventure Lanka Tours (Pvt) Ltd on the Internet and made contact with Rajiv who works for them. In all my dealings leading up to our trip everything was extremely professionally organized and communicated. The trips they had listed did not match what we wanted to do so Rajiv made up a holiday. to our specifications and it was perfect.

We had a 12 day custom designed tip with our own guide and vehicle for half the price of what travel agents were offering here in Australia for a shorter tip. Our guide Sarath was excellent, nothing was a problem for him and his knowledge of the country was excellent. Also his English was very good too so there was no communication problems either.

At the end of our trip we had a wonderful time and did not expect to have anymore contact with our tour company. But a month after being home I went to have some jewellery I bought for my wife valued and it turned out to be fake. Considering I had spent $1000 on it we were devastated as this was a large part of our spending money. I thought there was no chance I was going to get anything done and my money was gone. I dropped an email to Rajiv to see if there was anything we could do and he responded immediately. He was horrified this could happen and he seemed genuinely embarrassed that this had happened on a trip he organized. He offered to represent us in Sri Lanka and either get our money back or a replacement bracelet.

Over the next 9 months and numerous emails and phone calls we endeavored to get something done. After the tireless efforts of Rajiv I am happy to say we have a new bracelet which has been independently valued by the Gem society in Sri Lanka and is perfect. All this work was done free of charge by Rajiv and Adventure Lanka Tours (Pvt) Ltd Tours. I can honestly say it was the best after sales service I have had from any industry or business anywhere. While it was a drawn out process we got the desired result which I thought would never happen.

If you do travel to Sri Lanka I cannot make a stronger recommendation for Adventure Lanka Tours (Pvt) Ltd. You can rest assured they will look after your needs every step of the way. If you buy jewellery in Sri Lanka make sure the company you go to is backed by the Gem Society of Sri Lanka. Luckily the company we bought the bracelet from were and as it turned out an external supplier had supplied the fake bracelet to them. Because they were a reputable dealer they replaced the bracelet. Sri Lanka is a wonderful place and Adventure Lanka Tours (Pvt) Ltd is definitely the company to show you around.
